The academic year 2020-21 will see the beginnings at two campuses- Bagalur in North Bengaluru and Banashankari at South Bengaluru. The south campus will begin at JP Nagar * campus following a progression to a new campus in Banashankari from the academic year 2021-22 onwards. The spacious classrooms are designed for a 15:1 ratio and will follow the ICSE curriculum.
* The JP Nagar premises will accommodate grades 1 and 2.

Admission approval process
For the admission to be approved by the admissions panel, parents must complete and submit the application form with the following documents – copy of birth certificate of the student, copy of Aadhar card of the parents, copy of the academic reports of the past two years of the student.

Interaction with student
Attend your child’s interaction on the specified date and time. Both parents must be present along with the child for the interaction. Queries regarding the result will not be entertained on that day.
Results of the interaction will be conveyed to the prospective parents by phone or e-mail.
Admission offer letter/Acknowledgement
The Admission offer letter will be extended to the prospective parent for their acceptance via email.
On the acceptance of the offer letter an online payment will seal the confirmation of admission to the school.
Dr. Dayananda Pai – Managing Trustee
Dr. Pai is a prominent educationist, philanthropist and leading developer in Bangalore city. Apart from being the Managing Trustee of the school, Dr Pai is also the Board Trustee of B.M.S college and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and is the syndicate member of Manipal Universities and the National Institute of Technology, Suratkal and the former syndicate member of Mangalore University.
Dr Pai has been awarded the Karnataka Udyog Award and the Karnataka Rajyotsava Award for initiatives revolving social and charitable activities. He was conferred an Honorary Doctorate by Mangalore University for his exceptional contribution to the field of education and philanthropy.
Dr. Kiran Pai (Ed.D.)- Director
Dr. Kiran Pai is the Director of Vidyashilp Schools, Vidyashilp Academy and Vidyasagar Preschools. She is also the founder of educational initiatives such as Connectivate, a conference platform for educators and students. Agents of Change, another initiative is a social work model for empathy that aims to enable students to become active, compassionate citizens. Though she is one of the youngest education entrepreneurs in the country, she has nearly a decade of experience in the field of K-12 management and is involved in overall strategic management, development and administration of the school. Dr. Kiran is also a doctoral student of the Rossier School of Education at the University of Southern California.
Ms. Nalini Ponnappa - Academic Head - Vidyashilp Schools.
Ms. Ponnappa is a seasoned educator with over 37 years of experience in the field of education. She started her career in Good Shepherd Convent School Ammathi, Kodagu, and taught across grades in Delhi, Lagos and Bangalore. She joined Vidyaniketan School in 1989, a young school and embarked on a challenging, invigorating and rewarding journey; first as a teacher and later in the capacity of Headmistress, Principal and Joint Director. She was also the Convener of the ICSE schools for 2 years, managing a group of examination centres.
Her repertoire includes various curricula, ICSE, ISC, CBSE and accredited programs. She has extensively been engaged in designing and facilitating workshops for children as well as for teachers. Developing innovative curriculum and children-centric administrative policies, counselling and guidance and innovative educational breakthrough are her forte.
Ms. Shashikala Rananavare - Principal Vidyasagar Preschool- JP Nagar
Mrs. Shashikala Rananavare is the Principal of Vidyasagar Preschool- JP Nagar. She has been associated in the field of education for the past 25 years. Mrs. Rananavare holds a bachelors and a masters degree in Early Childhood Education. She has taught children right across the board from the Preschool to high school & worked in tandem with a curriculum that encourages 21st-century skills. She defines the VSP vision as an endeavor to guide every child to become a lifelong learner, express freely and hone skill sets required to be change-makers in society. She consistently seeks out ways to improve existing programs, resources & professional learning opportunities. Her absolute resolve is to add a dash of sparkle in every child's life.
